Faye Deveres, Parent Coach

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and received Teacher Certifications in California and Maine, having studied at Northeastern University, New College of California, and California State University, East Bay.

My career spans a wide range of experience with children as an Infant Development Specialist, Early Intervention Counselor, Montessori teacher, After-school Wellness Coordinator and School Counselor. Notably, I was employed as Lead Teacher at Bowdoin College Children’s Center, one of the few Pikler/RIE-modeled programs in the US.

While living in Europe, I served as vice president for the United World for International Children’s Rights in Vienna, Austria for four years. My passion and dedication to advocating for children is shared by my three grown children.

  • The Free Play Space benefits

Faye helped me set up a play space between our kitchen and living room. Now when I need to cook or do dishes, my one year old can play freely knowing I'm right here and without me having to watch him every second. It has taken away a whole dimension of stress for both of us.
